Since 2003, I have been working with advice on environmental and energy law. The work covers everything from large-scale environmental permit processes in different industries to environmental and energy law in transactions.
My main area of expertise is environmental permit processes and I am often engaged as lead counsel for this within different industry sectors. The energy sector is one of my top niches and since many years I am working with many of the leading companies within the wind power industry. Also, the rock material industry as well as the waste industry have been in focus for a long time. In addition, the food sector has over the years become a growing segment.
Further, I regularly assist in water trials, matters regarding various forms of environmental supervision, the handling of excavated masses, grid connections and species protection issues. The rapid development when it comes to major solar power plants and energy gases, not at the least hydrogen gas, thereto gives rise to regulatory issues.
Different forms of environmental responsibility as well as environmental and energy law in contract negotiations and transactions, often involving international companies, is a central part of my business.
I have also special knowledge in insolvency related environmental law within the mining industry as well as regarding liability issues concerning natural disasters.
In May 2023, I received the Wind Power Award 2023 from the Swedish Wind Power Association for meritorious efforts in the industry.
