The power plants have a combined annual output of approximately 24 GWh and are located in the electricity price area SE3.<\/p>\n<p>Sm\u00e5kraft is the largest operator of small-scale hydroelectric power plants in Europe and has an extensive portfolio comprising more than 190 hydropower plants with an annual output of more than 1.7 TWh, enough to cover the annual consumption of over 100,000 households. The company is owned by long-term funds managed by the German investment fund manager Aquila Capital. APG, a Dutch pension company, is the majority owner of Sm\u00e5kraft.<\/p>\n<p>Sm\u00e5kraft has a vision of creating renewable values for future generations, and considers the Swedish market as excellent for using its expertise in a sustainable way. The acquisition is in line with the company\u2019s development strategy and the company has in a short period of time built a Swedish portfolio with an annual output of 100 GWh of renewable electricity.
