The ranking institute Chambers has published its 2024 rankings of law firms in Sweden and for the sixth year in a row Setterwalls remain top ranked within the field of FinTech. Additionally, Setterwalls also retains three individual rankings.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year the ranking institute Chambers delivers rankings of the world’s leading lawyers and law firms. For the sixth year in a row Setterwalls remains on the top as one of the highest ranked law firms in Sweden within the field of FinTech. In addition, Setterwalls lawyers Joacim Johannesson, Tobias Bj\u00f6rklund and Niklas Follin retains their rankings. Joacim Johannesson, Head of the FinTech-team and top-ranked in Band 1, is proud of his team and looks forward for the upcoming year.<\/p>\n

– Despite a very hectic year we have managed to stay focused and kept important clients so I\u2019m proud to see the good results! We are one of Sweden\u2019s best FinTech-teams and are really looking forward for the upcoming year with all the new occasions happening within the Tech-industry. New and complex regulatory developments<\/strong><\/p>\n

Niklas Follin, partner since two years at Setterwalls, climbs from Up and Coming to a placement in Band 3, a development he\u2019s very honoured and happy about. For the past year a big focus has been on understanding the complexity of the Tech-world with all the new regulatory developments.<\/p>\n

– It has been an interesting year with all the new complex regulatory and commercial developments that has been made within the Tech-world. Next year we will even have more increased requirements with for example DORA, which for some actors may be experienced as completely new. But we are well prepared for what\u2019s coming, says Niklas Follin.<\/p>\n

Tobias Bj\u00f6rklund works as Specialist Counsel in Setterwalls FinTech-team and is specialized in financial regulatory law and advice clients on related issues, and on their relations to the Swedish FSA. Tobias also keeps his previous top ranking from last year in Band 2.<\/p>\n

-I\u2019m of course very honoured to keep the position and it proves that we have a great FinTech-team working with top clients.
