Our history goes back to 1878 when lawyers Nils Setterwall and Oscar von Koch bought &#8220;Advokatf\u00f6reningen, Juridisk Aff\u00e4rsbyr\u00e5&#8221; in Stockholm.<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"timeline-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"year-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"body\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>1885 &#8211; The firm changed its name to Nils Setterwalls Advokatbyr\u00e5. Our assignments included everything from classic company law to mining and forestry matters.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n1890 &#8211; Maritime law was included in the offering, an area that would dominate the business for most of the 1890s. The existing operations in Stockholm grew rapidly, and two new offices were opened, one in Gothenburg and one in Malm\u00f6.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nToday &#8211; Setterwalls has a very good reputation in the industry. We are top-ranked by institutes such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
