Setterwalls has assisted SATS Group in its expansion in Scandinavia through the acquisition of Arlanda-based ground handling companies.

Setterwalls, in collaboration with Horten, has acted as legal advisor to SATS Group and its subsidiary Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in the acquisition of two ground handling companies at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The deal marks a strategic expansion of SATS Group’s service offerings and presence in the region.

In a recent transaction, SATS Group, through its wholly-owned subsidiary WFS Sweden AB, has strengthened its position in the Scandinavian market by acquiring two specialized ground handling companies at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Through the transaction, SATS Group has secured a deal that not only expands their capacity for growth but also enhances their specialized cargo handling capabilities. The acquired companies enhance SATS Group’s offerings, particularly in pharmaceuticals and temperature-sensitive goods. The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
