Setterwalls advises Kährs Group in connection with the acquisition of Ehrenborg

Setterwalls has advised Kährs Group in connection with the acquisition of all shares in Ehrenborg & Co AB, which also includes subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway and Denmark (“Ehrenborg”).

Ehrenborg is one of the leading distributors in the Scandinavian market for flooring in public areas, with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö, Copenhagen and Oslo. Ehrenborg’s sales are aimed primarily towards municipalities, architects, interior designers, contractors and chain companies. Kährs Group is a leading flooring manufacturer in hardwood and resilient flooring with several strong brands in its product portfolio, including Kährs, Karelia and Upofloor. Kährs Group, which delivers products to more than 70 countries, is the market leader in Sweden, Finland and Russia, among others. The Group has approximately 1,700 employees and annual sales of more than SEK 3 billion. The companies have been cooperating for a long time as Ehrenborg is responsible for the sales of Upofloor, Kährs Group’s brand for resilient flooring, in the Scandinavian market. Through the acquisition of Ehrenborg, Kährs Group strengthens its sales and distribution to customers in commercial projects and broadens its product portfolio with new products in project sales.
