Setterwalls assisted in the formation of a joint venture between Obos and KlaraBo

Setterwalls has assisted Obos and KlaraBo in entering into a joint venture regarding the development of more than 300 apartments in a brand new neighbourhood in Hyllie in Malmö.

After winning a land development competition with their joint project Boostad, the parties have now signed a land development agreement with the City of Malmö including the right to acquire the land from the city. The project, which is located directly adjacent to Malmömässan and Malmö Arena, is comprised of over 23,000 square metres BTA and combines condominiums and rental apartments. The rental apartments are covered by the City of Malmö’s Mallbo concept. Mallbo is a model and a tool for achieving the goal of a more sustainable housing market in the city, where the goal is also to reduce segregation. Obos will be responsible for the condominium units and KlaraBo for the rental units.
