Arise has entered into an agreement with The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited and funds managed by InfraRed for the sale of the wind farm projects Ranasjöhöjden and Salsjöhöjden. Siemens Gamesa will be supplying 39 turbines with a capacity of 6.2 MW each. Construction is expected to commence in Q3 2021 and to be completed in the first half of 2024.

Arise will under construction and operation management agreements manage the construction and once operational, the operation of the wind farms on behalf of the investors. Once operational the wind farms will provide enough clean energy to power the equivalent of more than 45,000 Swedish households.

The wind farms are expected to have a total nominal capacity of 242 MW, making it the largest projects sale to date by Arise. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of June 2021, subject to certain conditions being satisfied, including entering into final agreements for the construction of the wind farms.

Setterwalls acted as legal advisor to Arise throughout the process.
