Anders Ackebo to join Setterwalls
From 2 March, Setterwalls will strengthen its Capital Markets group with one of Sweden’s foremost capital markets and corporate lawyers, Anders Ackebo. He comes to Setterwalls from Nasdaq OMX where he headed up the listing and supervisory functions. He led stock exchange supervision there from 2001-2008.
We are very pleased to have Anders as a colleague. He is a leading Swedish business profile and has witnessed most of what happens in stock-exchange related business. Anders will contribute to Setterwalls’ ability to deliver market-leading advice on corporate governance and stock markets, says Owe Hjelmqvist, Managing Partner at Setterwalls in Stockholm. Anders Ackebo worked as listing and supervisory manager at the OMX Stockholm Stock Exchange, and later for all seven OMX exchanges between 2001 and 2008. Before that, Anders built up, and was responsible for, Compliance at the SEB group and, amongst other things represented SEB at the Swedish Securities Dealers Association. Before joining SEB, Anders Ackebo was employed at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and was responsible for granting licences to, and supervising, investment and securities companies. He is also a member of the Swedish Securities Council. Anders will be Senior Counsel at Setterwalls.
