This year’s edition of World Trademark Review has been published, and Setterwalls is ranked in the highest category. Our intellectual property experts receive top placements in “prosecution and strategy” as well as “enforcement and litigation”, with a gold award in the latter category.

We are proud to once again be recognized for our efforts and congratulate our colleagues Per Lidman, Martin Levinsohn, Lovisa Dahl Nelson, Fredrik Roos, and Sophia Spala, all of whom are mentioned in the report.

In the publication, WTR summarizes Setterwalls’ ranking in the gold category as follows:

“Established in 1878, “commercial outfit Setterwalls is a go-to destination end-to-end trademark work.” With offices spread across Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmo, the outfit boasts a robust domestic foothold. Paired with a vast international network, “Its practitioners provide comprehensive assistance to those with interests in the Swedish market and those seeking global expansion.” The full spectrum of brand protection is on offer through “two of the leading names in the Swedish legal landscape”, Sophia Spala and Per Lidman. “A recipe for success, the pair boast a long track record of success within the trademark space.” “Sophia’s client-centric approach and cutting-edge strategies, means that she tackles even the most intricate matters with confidence and expertise.” “A tenacious litigator with in-depth expertise in handling strategic and commercial matters, Per boasts truly profound knowledge of local and international laws and policy.” “Portfolio management ace Lovisa Dahl Nelson is always spot on. With strategic foresight and a brilliant grasp on the business objectives of her client, she effectively handles cross border IP strategies.” “Litigation ace Martin Levinsohn crafts persuasive arguments that fuse strategic foresight with commercial savvy. A trusted resource in and out of the courtroom, he effectively handles intricate disputes.”  Completing the roster is Fredrik Roos, a go-to adviser for high-stakes contentious and commercial matters. Leveraging deep technology know-how, he is the first port of call for complex licensing and contractual issues, particularly those tied to cutting-edge innovations and emerging tech.”
