UP/UPC Update: UK’s step to leave the UPC is regretted in the House of Lords

This morning (GMT), the EU Justice Sub-Committee of the House of Lords was briefed by the President of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) Julia Florence and Daniel Alexander, QC and barrister, on IP matters including the much debated issue of the UK’s announcement that the country will not be seeking involvement in the UPC (thus participation in the Unified Patent Court).
