Setterwalls has advised the sellers in connection with Zmarta Group’s acquisition of the shares in Elskling AB, Sweden’s leading online comparison platform for electricity.

Elskling was founded in Stockholm in 2007 and is now the leading online electricity broker in the Nordics. Since the start Elskling has helped more than 700 000 Swedish households to compare and switch between electricity agreements at elskling.se. Since 2011, the service is also available in Norway (elskling.no). The vision is to continue the geographical expansion and thereby allow more customers to take control over their electricity expenses. Elskling will continue under the same name after the acquisition, maintaining the CEO and other executives to further develop the service together with Zmarta.
