Setterwalls assists Green Landscaping with the acquisition of Markbygg Anläggning Väst AB

Setterwalls assists Green Landscaping, Sweden’s leading provider for landscaping and maintenance of outdoor environments, with the acquisition of the Uddevalla-based land and construction company Markbygg Anläggning Väst AB (“Markbygg”).

Markbygg is active within excavation works and with specialization towards water and sewage. The company currently has approximately 60 employees and carries out land construction projects for its customers, mainly found in the public sector.

Through the acquisition, Green Landscaping will receive 100 percent of the shares in Markbygg and the current owner will reinvest part of the purchase in Green Landscaping. Closing is expected to take place in the beginning of Q1 2022 after receipt of customary approvals from the Swedish Competition Authority.
