Andréas Åhlund

Since 2019, I have worked with Swedish and international clients on a wide range of environmental and climate law matters, with a particular focus on environmental permit applications and regulatory issues.

I advise clients across diverse sectors—including renewable energy and extractive industries—on environmental and climate law, and have extensive experience with environmental permit applications and proceedings before courts and administrative authorities.

In connection with commercial transactions, I provide advice on environmental risks, including liability assessments related to contaminated land, product compliance, and industrial greenhouse gas emissions.

I have been a member of Setterwalls’ Environmental Law practice group since autumn 2023. In spring 2025, I was on secondment to Ashurst LLP in London, where I deepened my experience in international environmental and climate law.
