Setterwalls recruits a specialist in the field of pharmaceuticals and pharmacies from the Government Offices
Setterwalls makes a strategic recruitment in the expanding field of Life Sciences and recruits Helena Nilsson, one of Sweden’s leading experts in the field from the Government Offices. As of January 3, Helena will work as Specialist Counsel at the Malmö office.
– Lately, we have made a number of strategic recruitments. We are very happy to be adding Helena Nilsson to them. Helena has a unique competence in the area of pharmaceuticals and pharmacies and of regulatory matters. Helena is an excellent reinforcement of our Life Sciences team. Setterwalls is already top-rated in the field of Life Sciences and through the recruitment of Helena Setterwalls puts itself even more clearly on the map as leading adviser and partner in the field, says Joakim Edoff, CEO of Setterwalls.
For many years, Helena Nilsson has worked with pharmaceutical law at the Government Offices in areas such as regulation of approvals and registrations, marketing and pricing of pharmaceuticals and in recent years she has been deeply involved in the government’s work in the re-regulation of the pharmacy market, first as secretary general of the Pharmaceuticals market inquiry and subsequently as an expert adviser at the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. Helena is also a qualified judge and associate judge of the Scania and Blekinge Court of Appeal.
– The pharmaceutical business is constantly evolving and the legal issues become more and more complex. At Setterwalls there is already solid legal competence and knowledge of the business in the area of Life Sciences. My experiences are primarily from the regulatory side and I am excited to be part of developing what Setterwalls has to offer in this field, says Helena Nilsson.
