Setterwalls recruits further within EU and competition law and welcomes Magnus Jonson from the Swedish Competition Authority

By recruiting Magnus Jonson, Setterwalls’ law firm continues to make top level recruitments to its more than 20 lawyer strong EU and Competition department.  Magnus Jonson has more than 20 years of experience from work with other law firms and is most recent coming from the Swedish Competition Authority where held a position as the deputy head of Legal Service. Recently, Tommy Pettersson, a former partner of Mannheimer Swartling, was also recruited to the department.

EU- and competition law is becoming more and more important to Swedish and international companies and organizations and is key in complex transactions such as acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures. Moreover, the number of dawn raids, investigations and proceedings in relation thereto has increased substantially during recent years.
