Setterwalls acted as Swedish counsel to Royal Unibrew, the Danish multi-regional beverage company listed on OMX Copenhagen, which entered into an agreement with the private equity fund CapMan for the acquisition of the leading importer and distributor of alcohol Solera Beverage Group, which both imports and distributes alcohol in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The purchase price amounts to NOK 770 million. Solera Beverage Group has 150 employees and generated net sales, excluding corona effects, of DKK 1.3 billion in 2020. The transaction, which is subject to competition authority approval, provides Royal Unibrew with a platform to expand its alcohol sales throughout the Nordic region and in the Baltic countries to over 30 million customers.
