Setterwalls advises in relation to investment in SAS

Setterwalls has acted as Swedish counsel, together with Bech-Bruun as lead counsel and Latham & Watkins as US counsel, to Lind Invest throughout the process in which SAS has completed a successful restructuring in both the US (Chapter 11) and Sweden, including a large investment from a consortium consisting of Lind Invest, Castlelake, Air France-KLM and the Danish State.

Headquartered in Stockholm, SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is the largest airline in Scandinavia.

Lind Invest ApS is a Danish investment company based in Aarhus. The company was founded by Henrik Lind in 2002.

Lind Invest, Castlelake, Air France-KLM and the Danish State have invested a total amount of USD 1,200m, which includes USD 475m in new unlisted shares and USD 725m in convertible debt.
