Kenneth Nilsson

Kenneth Nilsson works with insolvency and banking and finance matters.

Kenneth has more than 25 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency and has worked on these matters in a range of roles. He has served as a bankruptcy trustee and as a company reorganisation administrator. As an adviser, he handles complex insolvency cases.

At Setterwalls, Kenneth leads the firm’s cross-border insolvency practice. This work combines expertise in insolvency law with an understanding of the issues that arise when several jurisdictions are involved. He also works with banking and finance matters, an area closely linked to his insolvency work.

Kenneth also assists in disputes arising in connection with insolvency. His experience as a trustee, reorganisation administrator and adviser gives him a complete view of the insolvency process, from restructuring and liquidation to dispute resolution.

Alongside his client work, Kenneth is a frequently engaged author. He has written legal analyses published in Sweden. He is also the author of commentaries on the European Insolvency Regulation and the Swedish Rights of Priority Act (förmånsrättslagen).
