Setterwalls has assisted the sellers in connection with Nokia’s acquisition of business from Scalado. Scalado is a world leader in providing high-performance imaging technologies, applications and services for the mobile imaging industry.

Among the owners in Scalado are private equity players as i.a. Industrifonden, Teknoseed and companies controlled by Northcap Partners. Through the deal, Scalado’s headquarters in Sweden are planned to become one of Nokia’s most important centers for the development of Smartphone imaging together with existing centers in Finland.
