Albin Larsson
Specialist Counsel, Member of the Swedish Bar Association
Profile
I lead the dispute resolution practice at our Malmö office and provide advice and service regarding ongoing or impending disputes.
Through my background as a judge in the district courts and the court of appeal, followed by several years of handling of commercial disputes as an attorney, I have gained specialist skills in litigation and other types of dispute resolution. From working as a judge, I have also gained insight into the procedures of the Swedish courts and an understanding of how judges typically reason when making legal assessments. This oftentimes helps me make an accurate assessment of the likely outcome of legal proceedings.
I handle disputes across many different industries and areas of law, often with international connections. My work is always based on the client’s needs and includes (among other things):
- making strategical, legal and commercial assessments of which course of action best benefits the client when there is an ongoing or impending dispute;
- presenting or defending against claims outside of formal proceedings;
- taking measures to avoid escalation of the dispute to the detriment of the client;
- negotiating constructive solutions or settlements when it is in the best interest of the client; and
- representing the client as counsel in litigation and arbitration.
