Setterwalls has acted as legal advisor to Catena in connection with the company’s acquisition of a logistics facility in Jönköping from a fund managed by Niam for approximately SEK 1.275 billion. The deal comprises the property Barnarps Kråkebo 1:49, which is fully leased to Elgiganten up to 2033.

The transaction in question, carried out as a corporate deal at an underlying property value of approximately SEK 1.275 billion, means that Catena will now own and manage over 200,000 square meters of logistics space with Elgiganten as the tenant in the area. This strengthens Catena’s position as a leading player in logistics properties in the Torsvik area.

The logistics facility, certified according to BREEAM In-Use Very Good, includes approximately 112,000 square meters of lettable space on a 232,000 square meter plot. The property has been expanded in several phases, most recently in 2016 when a high-bay warehouse of 12,000 square meters was added. Its location in the Torsvik industrial area, close to the E4 motorway and rail connections, makes the property a strategically important hub for logistics in the Nordic region.

Closing is scheduled for 1 September 2025.
