Setterwalls has advised Arise in its divestment of the wind farm project Skaftåsen of approx. 231 MW to funds managed by Foresight Group LLP

Arise has entered into an agreement with funds managed by Foresight Group LLP, a UK based leading infrastructure and private equity asset manager, for the sale of the wind farm project Skaftåsen.

Siemens Gamesa will be supplying 35 turbines with a capacity of 6.6 MW each from its new, cutting-edge 5.X platform. Siemens Gamesa 5.8-155 wind turbines are the most powerfully geared onshore wind turbines on the market. Arise will manage the construction and once operational, manage the project on behalf of Foresight through construction and asset management agreements.

The wind farm is expected to have a total nominal capacity of 231 MW, making it the largest project sale to date by Arise. Setterwalls’ energy team has advised Arise throughout the entire process.
