Setterwalls has advised Hydro REIN in acquisition of solar projects

Setterwalls has advised Hydro REIN in negotiations regarding agreements with GreenGo Energy to acquire and develop two solar projects in southern Sweden.

Hydro REIN has signed agreements with GreenGo Energy to acquire and develop two solar projects in southern Sweden. The projects have a combined capacity of 118 MW with an estimated total annual production of 143 GWh. Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with production starting in 2028.

Pursuant to the agreements, GreenGo Energy will be responsible for developing the projects in the portfolio while Hydro REIN will be responsible for contractual setup and project related services. The transaction is Hydro REIN’s first investment in solar energy in Sweden.
