Setterwalls has assisted Monterro in the reinvestment in Lumera
Setterwalls has assisted Monterro in the reinvestment in Lumera, an insurtech company that develops and provides system solutions for the global life and pensions industry.
Through the reinvestment, Monterro’s latest fund, M5, together with M4, has acquired all shares previously held by M2, enabling Monterro to remain the majority owner with an extended ownership horizon.
Lumera provides software to the life and pensions industry in Northern Europe, and more than 250 clients, including eight of Sweden’s ten largest insurers, use Lumera’s platform to manage over 20 million insurance policies. Lumera’s software supports the entire policy lifecycle and is central to clients’ operations, with contracts often spanning ten years or more.
Monterro is Europe’s leading hands-on software growth investor, turning B2B software companies into market leaders – by contributing time, experience, know-how, networks and capital. Monterro is headquartered in Stockholm with offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, London, and its software development centre in Hanoi.
