Setterwalls has assisted Wästbygg Gruppen in the acquisition of a centrally located property in Malmö

Wästbygg acquires the property Malmö Ledamoten 2 in Sorgenfri in Malmö from Salana. At the same time, Wästbygg has signed a lease agreement with Praktiska Sverige AB.

The property, which contains a lettable area of approximately 3,000 sq.m. will be refurbished and adapted into a modern and well-planned school building for vocational education. Praktiska Sverige AB will operate upper secondary school activities in the premises and a ten-year lease has been signed with the tenant. The total investment cost for the acquisition and refurbishment for Wästbygg amounts to approximately SEK 100,000,000. The transaction has been structured as a sale of the property owning company and completion took place on February 2, 2023.
