Setterwalls has assisted Westerman Multimodal Logistics in connection with their establishment of a logistics hub in the port of Malmö

Setterwalls has assisted the Dutch logistics company Westerman Multimodal Logistics in connection with their establishment of a logistics hub on the real property Verkö 5 in the port of Malmö. The logistics hub will allow the transloading of goods from ship transport to road transport or railroad transport.

The logistics company Westerman Multimodal Logistics is establishing a logistics facility in the port of Malmö. On the real property Verkö 5, the company will, together with MG Real Estate, construct a facility for the transloading of goods for transportation on sea, railroad and road. The real property covers 43,000 square meters and the facility will comprise approx. 18,000 square meters.

The facility will be an important logistics hub in northern Europe and will create a sustainable solution for transportation of goods between Scandinavia and continental Europe.
