UP/UPC Update: The German Federal Constitutional Court lists the complaint on the patent reform for decision in 2019

This week, the German Federal Constitutional Court published a list of cases for decision in 2019. The complaint against the legislation on Germany’s adherence to the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court (no 2 BVR 739/17) appears as the fifth entry from the top of the list where Justice Huber is indicated as rapporteur. This should be perceived as a signal that a decision will indeed be delivered in 2019 (albeit a corresponding listing was published last year at this time for 2018).
