Setterwalls advised Epinovatech in connection with the investment by Greenbridge

Setterwalls advised Epinovatech AB (“Epinovatech”) in connection with the investment by Greenbridge S.à.r.l. (“Greenbridge”).

Epinovatech was founded in 2019 and is based in Lund, Sweden. The business of the company is centered around the research in and development of high quality epiwafers and chips for industries where there is a need for high efficiency and power-handling capabilities, such as for example the automotive, 5G and renewable energies industries.

Greenbridge is an investment company based in Luxembourg with the mission to identify the trends, technologies and companies that will drive the next industrial revolution. Greenbridge’s investment in Epinovatech was carried out through a direct investment combined with an acquisition of shares from existing shareholders and Greenbridge is, following the investment, the most influential shareholder in Epinovatech, controlling more than 50 percent of the share capital and votes.

Setterwalls acted as legal counsel for Epinovatech throughout the entire process.
