Setterwalls assisted Thunderful Group in connection with the divestment of its distribution business and with the company’s new financing solution.

Thunderful Group AB (publ) (“Thunderful”) announced on 17 January of its intention to implement a restructuring program to strengthen its long-term competitive position. As part of the restructuring program, Thunderful has divested its entire distribution business consisting of the Bergsala group, the Amo Toys group and the Nordic Game Supply business in order for Thunderful to become a pure games company.

In connection with the divestment of the distribution business, Thunderful Group repaid its existing revolving credit facility and subsequently obtained a new unutilised overdraft facility from Danske Bank of EUR 10.5 million.

Setterwalls has acted as legal advisor to Thunderful throughout the process.
