Setterwalls has advised Martin & Servera, a company under the Axel Johnson Group, in connection with its conclusion of a green power purchase agreement (“PPA”) with Alight for the largest solar park in Sweden, located outside Skurup.

Martin & Servera has, as part of its ongoing commitment to reduce the climate impact of its business, entered into a fixed price PPA to purchase approximately 19 GWh of green electricity annually over a period of 15 years. The solar farm in Skurup is expected to reach commercial operation during the spring of 2022 and will represent 40 percent of the annual electricity consumption by Martin & Servera.

The investment is made together with Alight and Infranode. Alight is leading within solar PPAs in the Nordics and constructs and operates onsite and offsite solar farms. Infranode, which is financing the solar farm, is a Swedish infrastructure fund focusing on sustainable investments and which manages assets worth SEK 10 billion in the Nordics with an investment horizon of at least 25 years.
