Setterwalls’ team consisting of Anders Heintze and Linnea Ljung has advised SKF Sverige AB in connection with its sale of SKF’s historic factory area in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg, to Stena Fastigheter

The new district will be named “District Bearing” and the old factory buildings will co-exist with newly produced residences, restaurants, shops, work places and parks. SKF has chosen Stena Fastigheter as developer and owner of SKF’s historical site and both parties can now, together with the City of Gothenburg, continue its joint work with the zoning plan, which the parties expect will be accepted during the fall 2020 with subsequent start of production during 2023.
