Setterwalls has advised the owners of Acreto AB in the divestment of a majority of all shares in Acreto AB to Storskogen

Setterwalls has acted as legal advisers to the owners of Acreto AB (“Acreto”) in the sale of 80 percent of the shares in Acreto to Storskogen.

Acreto is a well established representative of strong consumer brands in the Nordic region, providing marketing and sales opportunities as well as distribution. The company’s brand portfolio includes, among other things, the segments mosquito and pest control and small household appliances, including several well-known brands such as Thermacell, Crockpot and FoodSaver. Acreto reported sales amounting to SEK 215 million and an EBITA of approximately SEK 65 million for the financial year 2021. Acreto will form part of Storskogen’s vertical Distributors, within the business area Trade.

The transaction, which was preceded by a customary examination by the Swedish Competition Authority, was completed on 3 June 2022, and Setterwalls acted as legal counsel to Acreto’s owners throughout the entire transaction process.
