Setterwalls has assisted Ford Motor Company in the sale of all shares in the Swedish subsidiary Ford Motor Company AB

Hedin Group AB acquires allshares in Ford Motor Company’s Swedish subsidiary Ford Motor Company AB and initiate a strategic co-operation with Ford in Sweden regarding import of Ford vehicles and distribution of spare parts and accessories.

On the  January 4th, 2021, Hedin Group acceded to all shares in Ford Motor Company AB, under name change to Hedin Motor Company AB. The transaction constitute part of a larger co-operation between the parties on the Swedish market and aim to benefit both organisations.

In connection with the transaction, a carve-out of a business branch of Ford Motor Company AB was completed. The business branch was transferred to Ford Sweden Parts Operations AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford-Werke GmbH. The aforementioned company will continue operations  comprising import of Ford spare parts and accessories in the Nordic region.
