Emmelie Tedfelt

Emmelie Tedfelt is a Specialist Counsel and heads the Employment Law group in Gothenburg.

Emmelie joined Setterwalls in 2009 and in 2018 became head of the firm’s employment law practice in its Gothenburg office. She advises Swedish and international companies on employment law and dispute resolution, acting primarily for employers.

Her practice covers the full range of employment law matters. These include employment contracts, terminations and negotiations with trade unions. A recurring part of her work concerns trade secrets and non-compete issues, where she helps clients protect their business and know-how.

Emmelie also advises on the employment aspects of restructurings and M&A transactions. She has extensive experience of litigation and arbitration, both in employment disputes and in cases on the protection of trade secrets and intellectual property rights. Combining day-to-day advisory work with litigation experience, she can handle a matter from preventive advice through to any resulting dispute.
