Lorentz Reige

Lorentz is a Senior Associate and member of the Swedish Bar Association in Setterwalls’ EU and Competition Law group

Lorentz advises public authorities, companies and private individuals, with a focus on public sector law, public procurement and foundation law. He provides legal and strategic advice to both private and public sector clients on the issues that arise where the private and public sectors meet.

In procurement, he advises on large and complex tenders, including major infrastructure projects, as well as on day-to-day matters such as public access to official documents and confidentiality. Lorentz regularly represents clients before the administrative courts. This mainly involves procurement review proceedings, but also permit proceedings, judicial review under the Swedish Local Government Act and appeals against administrative decisions.

In foundation law, he advises on the establishment, operation and management of foundations. He has particular experience of matters arising when a foundation is set up or changes its activities, including amendments to and permutation of foundation charters. He also advises on board liability and ongoing management. He regularly represents foundations before the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet) and the County Administrative Boards.
