As of January 2020 Håkan Nordling started as Setterwall’s Legal Technology Officer.

Until the end of 2019 he has worked as Specialist Counsel in a shared role including counseling with a focus on IT law and an internal role within digitalisation. Håkan has a background in IT and law and has previously worked as IT purchasing manager at Kindred Group and IT contract specialist at Volvo Cars.

With Håkan’s background in law, IT and business development, he will effectively contribute to our continued digital ventures and interconnect the fields of law, Knowledge Management and IT, says Kristina Einarsson, Executive Partner. In his new role Håkan will focus on processes, utilising tools and new digital solutions that support our advisory activities, she continues.

Kristina says: “We, like other law firms, face exciting challenges in using new technologies in our business. In order to continue to assist our clients in their operations, we are now taking another step to streamline our delivery.”

With a focus on providing qualitative legal advisory services, we see that there are opportunities to use digital solutions to streamline work, harness knowhow and thus further increase quality. In this way, we can focus on the more complex matters our clients are seeking assistance with and at the same time ensure that lawyers work with interesting and qualitative legal issues, says Håkan Nordling. With this initiative, we will improve our ways of working and enable innovation that gives us and our clients greater business benefits, Håkan concludes.
