Setterwalls advises in the divestment of Hälsomedicinskt Center

Setterwalls has assisted the owners of Hälsomedicinskt Center i Sverige AB in the divestment of all shares to Medtanken Group AB, backed by Procuritas Capital Investors VI, and in the owners’ reinvestment in Medtanken.

Hälsomedicinskt Center is a group which provides high quality primary care, occupational health care and specialist health care. Today, Hälsomedicinskt Center has more than 150 employees and more than 30,000 listed patients as well as a turnover of approximately SEK 230 million. Hälsomedicinskt Center are operational in the southern part of Sweden and through the transaction the possibilities for national expansion increase. Following the acquisition, Medtanken will offer 26 care clinics, with over 140,000 listed patients and a turnover of approximately SEK 1 billion.

The transaction means that Medtanken becomes the owner of the Hälsomedicinskt Center group together with the reinvesting sellers. Medtanken will, together with the founders of Hälsomedicinskt Center and other minority shareholders, continue to develop the business within primary care, occupational health care and specialist health care with a strong focus on the so-called digi-physical health care.
