Setterwalls has assisted Hamburg Commercial Bank AG with their project financing of the approx. 95MW Swedish wind farm project Lyngsåsa.

The project, which was initially developed by the German developer BayWa r.e., is owned by Swiss infrastructure fund manager SUSI Partners AG’s second renewables fund. The project was sold as a design & build turnkey concept and its financing is based on a project debt financing and a long-term power purchase agreement.

Setterwalls is happy to have had the opportunity to act as legal counsel for Hamburg Commercial Bank throughout this successful project. Setterwalls’ energy team regularly assists developers, investors and financing institutions in connection with energy infrastructure investments and takes a market leading position in the Scandinavian market, which is most lately evidenced by their top tier ranking in all of the major ranking institutions. Setterwalls worked together with the lender’s German counsel Norton Rose Fulbright on the financing.
