Pierre Olsson

Pierre Olsson is a Specialist Counsel in Setterwalls’ Transactions group, focusing on private M&A, private equity and venture capital.

Pierre advises Swedish and international clients on domestic and cross-border transactions. His experience covers the full transaction process, from structuring and negotiation through to risk management and completion.

Pierre has particular experience representing founders as well as investors in connection with acquisitions, divestments, investments and capital raisings, exits, joint ventures and other transactions involving growth companies and other technology-intensive sectors. His work spans a broad range of industries including AI, IT and telecoms, SaaS, media, life sciences and defence and security. Transactions in these industries often involve complex negotiations and specific risk issues concerning for example intellectual property, regulatory compliance and foreign direct investments. His sector knowledge allows him to provide advice that reflects both the legal framework and the client’s commercial reality.

In addition to his transactional work, he advice on corporate law, including board matters and corporate governance. His practice also covers licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, and other commercial contracts, which often form a core part of his clients’ businesses.
