Whistleblowing in Sweden: How to implement a whistleblowing function for SMEs

Responsive image

No later than 17 December 2023 all private Swedish employers with 50-249 employees will be required to have a whistleblowing function in place (for employers with more than 249 employees, this obligation already applies).

In addition to having a technical solution, additional legal tools are required to ensure that the whistleblowing channel actually fulfills its purpose and can serve as a useful tool for the employer to manage misconducts in a good way and minimize the risk of potential damage to the company.

In this webinar, we will provide a summary of what legal documents and measures are needed for a well-functioning whistleblower channel and give a tangible idea of what steps need to be taken to get started with the company’s implementation of a whistleblowing function.
