Setterwalls has advised Omers Ventures in connection with an investment round in FirstVet

Setterwalls has, through the Brittish law firm Goodwin Procter LLP, advised Omers Ventures, the Venture Capital arm of Canadian pension fund Omers, in connection with an investment round of approx. MEUR 18.5.

FirstVet was founded 2016 in Stockholm and provides pet owners with on-demand video consultations with qualified veterinarians and the investment round enables FirstVet’s global expansion plans. Omers Ventures has recently launched a dedicated MEUR 300 fund to invest in European start-ups. The Investment round was led by Omers Ventures and another participator, which also participated in FirstVet’s series A round, was Creandum. The total funding in FirstVet thereby amounts to approx. MEUR 24.5.
