Refugee Housing Unit AB has in cooperation with UNHCR and IKEA Foundation developed a refugee house, which will provide refugees with better living conditions and withstand difficult weather conditions better than the tents used today in refugee camps.

Through innovative design it has been possible to equip the refugee house with heat repelling nets, isolation and solar panels, giving the refugees access to electricity for light and e.g. cell phone chargers. More information about the refugee house can be found here

Setterwalls has advised Refugee Housing Unit AB in the project during several years, e.g. in contract negotiations with approximately fifteen cooperation partners who have contributed to the project.
