Johan Hallén has been a partner in the Commercial group at Setterwalls since 2008.
Johan has more than 30 years of experience advising Swedish and international companies on commercial agreements, frequently with a cross-border dimension. He heads Setterwalls’ Commercial group and the firm’s China Desk.
His day-to-day practice centres on drafting and negotiating agreements relating to collaborations, joint ventures, development projects, licensing, and the purchase and sale of products and services. A significant share of his work is international in scope, and Johan has extensive experience managing projects across different jurisdictions, including China and the United States.
Johan has particular expertise in serving clients in the automotive industry and the technology sector. His combination of industry insight and commercial legal expertise enables him to deliver advice tailored to the specific conditions of each sector.
