Setterwalls has assistedNordisk Bergteknik AB (publ) in connection with the acquisition of all shares in Power Mining Oy.

Power Mining, based in Kajaani, Finland, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 160 million. The company operates in both Finland and Sweden and is a full service provider of underground and tunnel services. The company currently employs approximately 45 people. Through the acquisition, Nordisk Bergteknik establishes itself in a new geographical market and strengthens the Group’s offering. Part of the purchase price will be reinvested through the purchase of shares in Nordisk Bergteknik, whereby Power Mining’s former owners will become long-term shareholders in Nordisk Bergteknik.

Setterwalls has acted as legal advisor to Nordisk Bergteknik throughout the transaction process.
