Setterwalls’ team, consisting of Tove Andersson and Jakob Ekesbo, has successfully represented Samkross i Uddevalla AB in its permit application regarding a permit for extraction of rock in Uddevalla municipality.

Samkross i Uddevalla AB, a subsidiary in the Samgräv Group, has been granted a environmental permit for extraction of 10 millions tons of rock. The permit was first granted by the County Administrative Board in October 2017. After review by the Land and Environmental Court, all appeals was rejected in June 2018. The permit has now gained legal force the 26 October 2018 by decision to not give leave to appeal from the Land and Environmental Court of Appeal. Uddevalla and environs will now have access to rock material of high quality, which contributes to the material supply for large infrastructure projects in the region. The new quarry is well located, just by the E6, which creates good transport connections to the Gothenburg region.
