Setterwalls successfully represented Jollyroom in a dispute over unfair marketing

The Patent and Market Court approved Jollyroom’s claim regarding an injunction under penalty of a fine for unfair marketing against Baby V.

Setterwalls has represented Jollyroom, the Nordic region’s largest e-retailer in children’s and baby products, in yet another dispute over unfair marketing against one of Jollyrooms competitors, Baby V. Jollyroom brought an action regarding prohibitory injunction under penalty of a fine for a great number of marketing measures taken by Baby V, all of which made Baby V’s prices and offers appear more favorable than what they really were.

Jollyroom’s case was upheld on all counts, and Baby V was prohibited under penalty of a fine of 250,000 SEK in regards to each marketing measure. The judgement was issued on June 11 2021.
