Setterwalls has assisted Omegapoint with the acquisition of Basalt

Setterwalls has assisted the IT consultancy company Omegapoint with the acquisition of Basalt AB, a company specialised in operational and security protection. Through the acquisition, Omegapoint strengthens its expertise and its capacity to help customers with the highest security requirements, such as central governmental authorities and actors within the defence industry.

Basalt is a company with around 90 employees, based in Enköping and Stockholm. The company is specialised in operational and security protection with expert competence within systematic security management, security consulting and the development of secure solutions.

The majority of the sellers will continue to be partners in the group as they have reinvested part of the purchase price in Omegapoint.
