Focusing on CCS – Regulatory Insights, Experiences from Denmark and Opportunities in Sweden
Horten and Setterwalls are pleased to invite you to an afternoon with us focusing on CO2 capture and storage – CCS.
We will talk about what CCS is, the regulatory framework in Sweden and Denmark as well as ongoing CCS-projects in Denmark. We will also discuss and provide insights into opportunities for CCS in Sweden.

- Brief on CCS and the elements of the CCS value chain.
- The regulatory framework for CCS in Sweden and Denmark.
- The Greensand project – how CCS can be successful on a large scale. Following a long path, involving i.a. a large pilot project, the Greensand project (INEOS Oil and Gas together with partners Harbour Energy and Nordsøfonden) in the Danish part of the North Sea, announced FID of the first full-scale CO2 storage facility in the EU on 10 December 2024.
- Status and experiences from Denmark in general.
- Panel discussions on insights regarding opportunities for CCS in Sweden.
- Questions and discussion.

- Time: Welcome at 14.30 for coffee and networking. The presentation will begin at 15.00.
- At 17.00 lighter food and refreshments will be served and there will be time for more networking.
