Setterwalls has advised AP7 in the acquisition of shares in Urban Escape and Gallerian shopping center with a transaction value of approx. EUR 2.2 billion

The Seventh State Pension Fund (AP7) and the pension fund AMF enter into a joint venture to acquire the well-known properties Urban Escape and the shopping center Gallerian in central Stockholm. The total property value amounts to approx. EUR 2.2 billion and the underlying property value of the 33.3 % of the joint venture acquired by AP7 amounts to approx. EUR 740 million. Setterwalls assisted AP7 in all legal matters related to the foundation and acquisition of shares in the joint venture, acquisition of real estate, notification to the Swedish Competition Authority, regulatory matters related to the Swedish State Pension Funds etc.
